There are a number of different reasons that a child can be constantly tripping or falling. It can be something minor such as an habitual pattern, abnormal gait, inappropriate or ill-fitting footwear, muscle weakness, fatigue or dyspraxia.

Many of these causes should be of no great concern. Occasionally however, the underlying cause could be a motor co-ordination or neurological issue.

If you are concerned about your child tripping or having difficulties walking, we would be happy to provide you with a professional assessment.
